The land is our mother. JAT farmers have fed India for generations, from the Green Revolution that transformed the nation to the daily toil in golden wheat fields of Haryana.

Origins

Born from the Land of Haryana

The JAT people trace their origins to the ancient martial tribes of the Delhi Sultanate, crystallizing in the rich plains of Haryana — the breadbasket of India. Our ancestors were both defenders of the land and its cultivators.

From the 12th century to the present, JAT communities have shaped Haryana's identity: brave in war, industrious in peace, rooted in the soil.

Yodha — Warrior

In the Blood of Every JAT Soldier

From Maharaja Surajmal's cavalry to the JAT Regiment's brave stands at Rezang La in 1962, JAT warriors have written chapters of valor in India's military history.

Today, thousands of JAT soldiers serve in the Indian Army, Indian Air Force, and CAPFs — continuing a tradition that stretches back five centuries.
